Musician Resume | Performance Schedule | Workshops & CDs
Shelia on Galveston BeachI would like to introduce myself and let you know that I am available for special events you might be planning - occasions that "intimate" background or "mood setting" music would be perfect. I have just purchased a NEW ACCORDION - that does NOT require an amplifier (or electricity) - but has speakers "ON BOARD". I can select from 17 different sounding accordions - like German, French, Alpine, Cajun - I can sound like a REAL Violin, a REAL Clarinet, and much more.

I can stroll, stay tucked in a corner, or be front stage entertainment. I read music (as opposed to "play-by-ear) and can sight read anything. My repetroire includes over 1500 songs - standards, classics, ethnic, sing-a-longs, country, etc. My rates (basically in the $50 per hr. range) are negotiable and are very affordable when multiple hours and dates are contracted.

I have been professional since I was 16 and Shelia and her New Roland V Accordionhave performed in Italian, German, and Hungarian restaurants - as well as at ethnic festivals.

Resume: Shelia has played the accordion since she was 5 years old. She and her younger sister would duet every occasion that arose – Rotary, Kiwanis, LionsClubs, Ethnic picnics and even the Ted Mac Amateur Hour. Shelia studied with Bill Palmer and was amember of the Palmer and Hughes Accordion Symphony at theUniversity of Houston until 1965.
